I'm not well-versed enough to tweak the settings more than this, and I don't want to feed my TV a signal that could mess with it, so I think the best course for me, for now, is to just be patient and let things develop at their own pace until more official CRT support arrives. In my uneducated opinion, it almost seems like this could be an issue with the sync signal fed to my television through the "Minimig SCART Cable" (but I could be way off base with this guess). However, it was not a steady image, showing constant screen scrolling, so clearly there's something not quite working with this whole setup. I could definitely see, for the first time, the GBA bios boot sequence on my 15khz Sony Trinitron (PAL) television that support both 50hz and 60hz signals via SCART VGA. I did try adding "direct_video=0" as the first line to the settings quoted.

So if you add a "direct_video=0" to your block it may work. Direct Video means you are using the cores video mode and ignoring the video mode you set. The problem is that you would not want direct_video in this case. It's early days and I have HDMI displays like everyone else, but I definitely look forward to official analog support in due course. Unfortunately, I haven't had success with getting it to to run on my setup using direct_video (HDMI Out > HDMI-to-VGA adapter > VGA to RGB SCART cable), so I'm guessing this only works with a MiSTer IO board. Some people have said they managed to get it running on their CRT televisions (unofficial supported at this time) with the following settings in mister.ini: JonnyTenebrous wrote:Amazing to see the GBA core up and running on MiSTer already.
